VTX homecoming

has anyone been planning on going to Marrysville OH in July for the homecoming?

I am considering heading out...looking for other riders for company and possibly share a room...if we can find one

I anyone is interested let us know so we can try to set it up early and make reservations

so I figured if a few of us could get together and get a room or 2 while they are still available and share a ride...have some good times and represent NY-Xers

as of right now my boss is giving me the week off so I'm in...
it would just be a long boring ride to do by myself...

I have a room already at Amerihost Marrysville with 2 beds from 7/27-7/31 if someone wants to share expences and the ride...give me a PM

I also have access to a 2 bike enclosed trailer incase the weather gets crappy.

i plan on leaving from long island. i will take my 2002 gl1800 and not the vtx. the wing is much better than the vtx for anything over 200 miles.

you will have a shorter ride by cutting through from Buffalo

check Mapquest.com to see how many miles the trip will be for you

I'll be making the ride to Ohio, but I cannot commit to any plans. Since I have family there, I may go early or stay late. I am waiting on a call-back for a new job, so I may or may not have the vacation time to make it a lonnnng weekend.

How will we know who is from NY?

As its the end July, I might me able to join the ride. I'll have to see how things shape up mid-summer after my planned US tour. Camping overnight will be my first choice since I have all necessary gear.

I will be attending, haven't gotten a room yet, but can tent it if needed. My birthday is the 29th of July so its gonna be the biggest birthday party I've ever had. I will be comming down 90 west with my buddy on his shadow saber in tow...let me know if anyone wants to join us....mike
