Went for a ride today it was pretty cold but a very nice day. Drove down to Arkansas City for our monthly CMA meeting it was 35 when I left about 1:00pm and seemed to be a little warmer coming home around 5:00. Some of the members called me crazy. My new full coverage helmet makes a big differance when riding in frezzing temps. I believe if I had some heated gloves I could ride all day. Maybe sante clone will bring me a pair next winter.he he he CC

Sun. was a lot better than Sat. it's nice to get out and ride in the winter once in a while , I got a pair of gloves from Cabelas they are the motorsports gloves ( ATV-Snowmobile ), I tried them out a week a go Fri. when it was 8deg. out and they worked really good, so i have been riding to work last week and to plan to ride if the roads are not slick....tim :D

It was a beautiful day today. The wife and I took the bike out this afternoon after work for about and hour. My first ride with the New Metzler tires. WOW, what a difference. It was so smooth and responsive. You just have to think about changing directions and your're already there. I don't miss those flat bald Dunlops at all.
I fly to Washington on Saturday to look at and hopefully purchase Christy's 2004 VTX 1300C. She is excited and so am I.
Keep your fingers crossed for more nice days.
Be safe!!

I'm too old to run anywhere hahaa. Your windshield is still in my way in my garage. My new seat better be on my porch when I get home. I am beyond "ready" to go ride. I may just have to leave early today. Of course, it would be nice to get one of those toad strangler rainstorms to get rid of all this sand first. That stuff is as bad as ice.

No rides for me for at least a month. The bike is in pieces and lots of small mods to be done. But I should be ready for the first big ride of the spring, to KC on April 9th for the Easyriders bike show.
