View Full Version : Anyone bought a 2005 1300s in the KC metro area?

I'm looking at getting a '05 1300s around March or April. There seems to be a big difference between MSRP and what they're actually selling for. Anyone know what they're going for in the KC metro? Anyone have any recommendations on dealerships in the KC metro? I read the posts about the Wichita and Chanute dealerships, but that's a little farther than I want to drive.

Thanks,
SFK

You might want to try the Freestate Honda shop in Topeka. They gave me a deal on my 2003 1800C. They were giving a good deal on the 2004 1300c for my wife as well. Talk to Wendy and Bob. Tell them I sent you.

Good Luck.

Excellent suggestion. I hadn't even thought of going to the Topeka Honda dealership. I'll be sure to look them up when I get ready for the plung.

Thanks for the info

Good deals are best when you are satisfied you didn't get screwed. i would call around, even to chanute....get the lowest bid and go tell em' you could go there but want to do business with them. see if they come down....If not, hell road trip and ride it back.....lol

I have been to procycleusa.com. A friend recommend I check them out too. I like the fact they actually post their prices on their website. Crowe, were you happy with their customer service, etc..?

Hopefully, I'll be able to start calling around here in a couple weeks. Hope to have it in the garage by mid March.

S.F.K. (sorry i cant bear to spell it out)

Sean at the Springfield, MO location was good to deal with. I will call an see if he is still working for them. He was good at communicating and we did most all of the deal over the phone.

Well, it's a done deal. I signed my life away on a new silver '05 VTX1300S today. I pick it up tomorrow afternoon. :pepper1: I ended up going with Dell's Honda in Blue Springs. I called around to all the dealerships in the Metro, including Procycle in Columbia, but I felt the most comfortable with Dell's, and they gave me the best price out the door. Now I can't wait until tomorrow. :mcrider:

You should spend all nite making a list of stuff to put on your new bike, and then think about that list long enough that you break down and buy half the damn list. It happened to me. Now I'm so broke my dog had to get a part time job. Well congrats on the bike, hope you get some riding weather soon, I will be riding to work tomorrow for the first time in a long, LONG, time.

Good to see you got your ride. From the picture it looks like you can choose whatever style of riding you want.
