Rear blinker running lights?

Does anyone know if running your rear blinkers as running lights is illegal in Mass?? I read the RMV law manual and it states all bikes need a red rear brake light, a white light to illuminate license plate and blinkers. Its states nothing about rear yellow running lights... Any info is appreciated..

Running lights on the rear have to be Red. You can't have amber or clear running lights on the rear.
