RIDES

Well folks its winter right now but as fast as time goes it wont be long until once again we ride. I came up with just a few general ideas and let everyone know yours too.
1.Little Nashville we did the ride last year and it was a pretty good time.(someone keep weekly busy while I get his air cover )
2.Was thinking of having a free bean dinner if there is interest and I have the perfect name.....The POOT & SCOOT
3.Maybe we could come up with a cental location for atleast once a month midweek ride in.
4.Ride up to Turkey Run State Park
5. Bean Blossom Bluegrass Fest./camp maybe ?
6.I have the RFTW.. if you cant do the whole run come on and ride 100 or 200 with us.

I"m up for a good central meet and greet, as far as bean Blossom goes i've heard nasty things about that place, even when i rode a harley i was told to stay away from there, but let's stay posted on rides and meets. And remember hooters is always a good place to meet :twisted:

I am going to bean blossom bluegrass fest,I go every year. EPE_79 I dont know who told you not to go to bean blossom but I am sure they ment the boggie. unless you are scared of old people sitting in lawn chairs watching great bluegrass you have nothing to worry about. I am also interesed in the turkey run thing but if we do that and camp we should camp at waveland. It is about 10 mins from turkey run and shades .it is not a state park so it is very party friendly

It sounds like all we need is s little warmer weather.Yeah maybe the boogie isnt that "safe"but I know the big bluegrass fest is good.

when I was there last year there was like two bikers. and they where not by any means bad asses. there are two big bluegrass fests a year at bean blossom, I am down with going to one or both

went boogie last year no problems .very few places to sit except beer tent . road was clay needs lot of improvement yet . anybody going to bike show feb. 12th at rosemont il. are you guys going to honda homecoming july in marysville, oh.

Yeah I plan on doing the home coming this year. I hope we can get a ride going on the way over.

Nashville and Rte 135 are always great.

Hot Rod Todd lead an overnight trip in 2003 to Turkey Run, where we canoed for several hours before heading to Greencastle (I think). Met up with some others there. Then Sunday rode over to Bloomington for lunch with other VTXers and then headed to Nashville. It was a great weekend. Some could make Saturday, some Sunday and some both days. Nice.
