View Full Version : Roadhouse Slip On Pipe
Well, I finally ordered a Roadhouse Slip On pipe for my 1800C from Honda Direct Line yesterday. I got the regular, not the shorty (longer column of air equals lower note)
I've listenend to many pipes and it seems to have the sound I'm looking for. I think I can put it on without any fuel management mods, your thoughts, experiences???
Thanks,

Hey Bear I got a pair I my 1300, and I really like them. Give that nice low rumble. I can't say much about the fuel management for the 1800, but I did rejet my carb. Hope everything works out ok I am sure you will like them.......Jack

I have the 1800 retro with 2 pipes and Roadhouse slipons (I loved the sound of Warden's) and I have no fuel management. Very little popping, just sometimes one pop coming off the throttle, but no repeated popping.
Love the sound, nice and deep. Which baffles did you get? I have tried all 3 and still have 2 of them - the quiet were too quiet for me so I sold them. Running right now the standards cuz my wife gripes toomuch when I put in the performance ones, and I honestly don't notice any performance increase, but they are definitely louder.
THe standards are just about right. dat's my 'sperience
Thanks for the responses. I'm not aware of the baffle choices, but I'll check it out when it shows up this next week. I should have it dialed & installed next weekend.

I have the Roadhouse long on my C. Love the sound. Love the stock look. I did add the FI2000 at the same time... runs nice.

Well fellow Oregon X'ers,
THE PIPE arrived yesterday and my son & I installed it today. The quality is excellent, fit perfect, instructions clear, and as to the sound....

I now have THUNDER for my LIGHTNIN'
I haven't got the Techlusion module yet, I may after I see how it runs. Seems pretty smooth for now with no backfire.
