Wifes 1300 shipped yesterday!!!

It's now official, the wife will be receiving her 1300 this coming week. We are expecting it to arrive Friday the 11th. She is very excited to say the least. The seller sent us pictures of the bike being loaded on the moving van.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate soon for a ride together so she can show it off. :wink: It's a candy red 2004 c model with 819 miles on it.

My orange 1800 and her candy red 1300 may clash color wise but the smiles will tell the story. :D

We are riding to Topeka today to buy her a helmet that matches colors.

Congrats. That's totally cool. Always good to see another woman with a bike in the group. Patty is hankering to riding soon. As soon as this sand gets off the streets she can. I rode to work yesterday....awesome.

I'd like to hook up with you to check it out some time if it ever warms up on a weekend. Should have my bike back before Christmas from the dealer.
She'll really like the way the 1300 handles.
I rode my wife's 750 for a while this morning, just couldn't stand it anymore.

We rode my bike to Topeka today to get her a helmet that matches the color of her bike and some good gloves. I sure hope next weekend is dry and pleasant because she'll be hell to live with if she can't ride her new bike.

Hopefully soon we can get together for a ride even if it's a short one. We go through Hillsboro to ge t oCassoday. I don't know exactly where you live in Marion county though.

Anyway we'll meet up soon.

Ditto on the ride when it gets warmer. My bike is nearing completion, with the clutch springs replaced and the engine painted. All that is left is bleeding the brakes and clutch, replacing the plugs, changing the antifreeze, and putting it back together. Maybe another week or two.

BTW, who in Topeka has helmets that match the Honda colors? And what brands? I am looking at getting a new Arai full face in the matching 02 orange for a B-day present. It would be nice if I had options.

We got hers at the Honda Dealer Freestate Honda on south Topeka Blvd. It is an HJC Modular full face flip type. The Honda Harley Dealer in Salina ordered mine last July and it is a Vega full face. I don't know if you can get the 2002 year color match but the dealers can tell you if you can.
Sounds like your bike will be lookin good again soon. I'm anxious to see the engine painted.

We'll definetly have to get a ride in again when it's warmer.

Not to be nosey, but what $$ did the helmets run? I have my eye on a color matched Arai, but it is major $$. HJC makes a good bucket also, so I might be interested if the price is much less.

I also have the Vega full face helmet. The color matched the '03 orange very well. I ordered it from a local motorcycle shop out of the catalog.

The problem is I have the '02 and the orange is definitely different.
