Any ideas on a rendevous place, we could meet and ride in together? Kind of hard to find people with a couple thousand bikes at the starting line.

Sounds good Lewis for us guys out West. How about 8:30. Perhaps we could meander in and hook up with other guys who live closer in at like 8:45 and 9:00. Registration doesn't start until 9:00 and the ride doesn't start until 10:00.
I might suggest, however, if someone is planning on going for sure, that they register a day or two before the event. When the SLMC runs out of pins, your out of luck. And if your going to pay $10, you might want to register early and make sure you get a 2005 Polar Bear pin.
A good place to meet on Sundays at 9:00 for those who live closer in Salt Lake City, would be Honda of Salt Lake at 9:00. They aren't open on Sunday. We could than go from Honda of Salt Lake parking lot, head South to Harley of Salt Lake, which is like 3 blocks or so South.
Again, I'm an outsider. You guys in Salt Lake, plan it. I'll be there (unless it's snowing).
:D  :D  :D  :D

I was looking for my crying towel until, I saw your subsequent post. Dude, I was really feeling bad. Or maybe even the 20th will be the ride. They always schedule a one week snow day delay, just in case.

Har - what?! Didn't think they permitted swearing on this board, dude!
 Actually rented a Road King last year before I got my scoot, and had a really cool 500 mi. day with kxb riding. Nice fit and finish, but not 22 grand worth.

I hear ya. I rented a Heritage Softtail last year and rode it up to Jackson Hole. Nice chrome and self cancelling signals, but not enough power and felt kinda small.
