Hey fellow Xer's
I might get a transfer from CT to Baltimore area like Woodlawn, Arbutus, Cantonsville areas. How could you sum up the life style out there?
Thanks

Not bad. Traffic will take some getting used to. Plenty of places to ride and things to do. Being close to Baltimore and Washington affords lots of opportunities. Western Md is a great place to ride. There is the Delmarva bike weekend in Sept. The ride across Md in June and all kinds of throw together events. Hope this helps and maybe we will see you soon.

It sounds like you may be in an area around the southern part of Baltimore. Another area to consider living in is Columbia, MD. It is a little closer to DC and you would be communiting north in the mornings and south in the evenings. If this occurs you will be going against traffic during rush hour. Columbia has many different housing developments and a very nice mall.

Riding in this area is very nice. I ride with a group out of Baltimore and there are some nice roads. There is actually a bike show this weekend at the fair grounds in Timonium, MD just north of Baltimore.

Good luck with the move.

I got a good idea! Come to Baltimore City. You can pay high taxes, high insurance, play with rats, beat up crack heads who don't respect your property, and ride the pot hole ridden streets. You can have a mayor who only cares about the 60% of the people who don't pay taxes. That's why they call it Charm City  By the way, I own a house near the Inner Harbor, close to Fort McHenry. The prices keep going up day by day!
