Well, If the good Lord was callin', I didn't answer the phone....lol I just about met DEATH himself yesterday on my otherwise perfect day. He was in a black Range Rover and dressed as a ritzy women with a little girl. I was going east on Douglas just entering Eastburrow, when Ms. Death decided to turn left at a light without any concern for the fatman on the VTX. I had to lock em up and slid for about 20 ft, (seemed anyway). Cars were honking at her and I just started thinking......man this is gonna hurt....Luckily I came to a stop and she decided to spin her tires and get out of the intersection. (my yelling at her, might have helped in her decision....lol :badabing: ) So I cheated death using my cat like reflexes, (and some angelic help I am thinking....lol)
I am making light of it now, but was pissed then. BE CAREFUL, and pay attention to the morons on the road. I had an otherwise terrific day riding and met up with several guys doing the same. Hope all of you had a chance to get out and enjoy the day. Today will be nice also....Ride safe and lets get ready for another great year of road trips and friendship! T
