know anyone looking for a VTX

I am selling my 03 Neo spoke. Transfering in early summer and have no room to take bike. Let me know. And as they say else where, no tire kickers. :P

Where are you going to relocate to? The reason I ask is with Honda putting 03's on sale, it may be hard to get what you want for the bike right now, and if you can afford to keep it you can ship it where you are going if you physically won't have room while you are moving.

If you paid cash for it you may have to let it go for less than you want, and if it is financed, you may not be able to get what you still owe for it. That is the sad reality at this point with new 03's being sold so cheap.

This past September I bought a new GL1800 Goldwing and I kept my VTX 1800 Retro Spoke because the dealer wouldn't even take it in trade because Honda was having their firesale on 02's at the time.

I recently thought about selling the VTX and contacted one of those companies that advertise that they will buy used bikes. Keep in mind that when I bought mine I paid $12,600.00 cash and installed $3,000.00 worth of accesories, they offered $6800.00.

Needless to say I guess I will keep the VTX.

Yeah I hear you. No matter how I look at it, I need to sell the bike. I bought it cash, so I owe nothing. I am hoping to get at least what I have in it as it is only 6 months old and now is in every bit a NEO. Can't buy a N on sale for what the 03 R,S and C go for. I am going to try puttin it on a ebay with a low reserve and see what happens.

Good Luck with selling the bike, you're right, I didn't realize that the Neo's were not included in the sale, I hope you can get what you want for it. Besides Ebay put it in the VTXOA 1800 classified board. I realize that just about everyone that reads that has a VTX but they may know someone that wants one.
