I just want to post a new post to say Thank You for all your support. It's nice to know that my work was well recieved . A special thanks goes out to Dawg for all his support . It's great to get a E-Pat on the back from someone whom I have great respect for.

Another post stated that they couldn't get a hold of me through my PM. I don't know what happened and apoligize. Phinz told me this on the phone and then PMed me. seems to work now :?:

As far as the logo is concerned I designed it for everyone :D . You all have my permission to use the logo in anyway you see fit. If anyone does do patches or T shirts, Please tell me by Post or PM (if it works?).

I personally will have several color vinyl logos available at the Honda Hoot. I'm also working with a vendor in my area to do print and cut small logos for helmets about 2 inches long.

Here's the link for the ai graphic if any one needs it , right click on the link and save target as http://www.thekirkhams.com/graphics/vtxtn.ai

Thanks Again

My wife does embroidery and would like to get this design digitized, but I'm having a little trouble opening the file. It's a PS file, and for some reason I can't open it.Could you put in a different kind of file?
Thanks

David

For some reason browsers want to convert them to .ps files. If you right click on the saved graphic and tell it to "Open With" and choose your favorite vector graphic software it should open. It works on this end.

The same will happen with an Encapsulated PostScript file. The link for the .eps file is http://www.thekirkhams.com/graphics/vtxtn.eps Just save it to your computer. Right click on the saved graphic. Select "Open With" and choose your program.

I can do this as a really big jpeg, but that absolutely kills my bandwidth, and jpegs suck for graphic work because they are raster images, not vector images.

As an alternative, PM me or Tiki and we can email the graphic, but please first try and open it by doing the above suggested method. http://www.thekirkhams.com/avs/thumbs.gif

Let me know if you are able to put the design into a patch. Thanks.

I'm still struggling with this PS file.I downloaded and installed Ghostwriter to open it,still no luck.I'm not exactly what you might call a computer whiz.I guess I could just forward the file to the Digitizer in this format, and trust that they can open it.

I'm betting the digitizer has dealt with PDF files. I don't understand why it's trying to turn it into a .ps file. It opens with Adobe Acrobat, for what it's worth.
