I'm going to be in the Knoxville area in march or april. Are the any areas that would be interesting to ride. My wife will be riding her bike, so it can't be a Devil's Gap thing. Thanks, Randy

Cherohala Skyway is gorgeous. Deal's Gap is not bad during the week, to be honest, so you can take it as slowly as you want to and pull out when you need to. Just remember to not use the front brake on the gravel pullouts. I've seen far too many dumped bikes when somebody grabbed a handful of front brake.

This whole area is *riddled* with good roads, though. If all else fails, ride on up to Cherokee, NC, via the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
