Hey Bam... I rode last Saturday on the trace, leiper's fork and over to Arrington and back. Live in Franklin.
If this rain ever stops, we need to plan a ride. I am soooo ready for spring.

bambam,
Welcome to the board. I know you'll find the topics posted here interesting and informative.
Although I reside in Kansas now, I am from Tennessee and have property on Cherokee Lake. And I used to work the area around Fairview for BellSouth many, many years ago. Great riding there!

bambam,
Eastern Kansas has some good riding, but most of the roads here are flat and straight. I don't know Jim Anderson, but then BellSouth was (is) a big company and I left about 10 years ago.

BAMBAM, Welcome to the world of VTX. I live in Mt. Juliet, Tn. and know some folks in Fairview. I sometimes have work in Joelton. I want to ride the trace this spring. Maybe we can hook up for a ride. I ride a Black VTX 1300c and my son rides a Softtail Deuce.

Hey, somebody please describe to me leipers fork. I've only lived in the area for a little over a year and only been riding since last August. I've been on Natchez trace for a few miles, but other than that I don't know of many of the good rides in the area. Thanks. Also, I would be interested in meeting and riding with some people in the area too. Oh, past Saturday I passsed someone in nashville with a red retro. Just caught out of the corner of my eye as they passed. I think it was on Broadway. Didn't have time to wave but I wonder if it was anyone on here.
later.

Hi Mad,
Leiper's Fork is a quiet, quaint community west of Franklin and just off the Nathez Trace. Miles of beautiful, rolling two lane roads with little traffic make this a perfect place to ride. Puckett's grocery serves a mean baloney'cheese sandwich.

Thanks for all the info. It looks like a neat place to ride. Better than all the traffic in the city and the big highways all around it. Now, if it would just get a little warmer and stay there for a while I'd be happy.
