Holy Cow Batman!!! I am now just starting to feel my finger tips again. My Roadstar buddy and I made the trip home from the ABATE show back to Seward tonight. We left about 5:30 and I am sure glad I bought some leathers this week-end at the show. I am thinking I should have spent about $40 for those really warm looking gloves the one vendor was selling. It was the first time I had been to the ABATE show and was really impressed with the bikes, vendors, entertainment and all. I am sure they raked in some serious cash because the parking was crazy all week-end long. Did not have the opportunity to run into and meet any of the fellow Xers here but saw an X I recognized from the board. The orange one with silver flames. It looked real nice. I am sure there will be opportunities this coming riding season. I sure am ready for the season to start!!!!!!

Thanks for the compliment VTXHOGG!!!! There were quite a few guys riding there scoots somewhere. Either they were locals or they were riding to one of their local buddies garages until the weather warmed up. I run with the CMAers and that option was provided to me and my buddy by quite a few locals who had some extra room in their garage. I just didn't want to deal with trying to get it home later, especially if one of those 65 degree days pops up again. You know all about that living here in Nebraska. Now the bike is home and I will be ready anytime that temp shoots up there!!!! Later

enfuego, what section was your bike in? i believe i saw it there but i am confused now. the one that comes to mind i was positive it was a shadow. so many bikes there it was hard to keep all of them straight. did you get your score sheets back? what class did they put you in?

His was in the East hall, north end, center section, just across from the big Indian setup. It was 2 bikes down from the Blurple VTX1800 with the LEDs on it. It was one VERY sweet bike. I dig the pearl white/wine color with the whitewalls.. very nice. And the crosses on the mount are awesome.

enfuego - I spoke with a guy and his wife from your group (the road star guy). I think his name was Steve. Very nice guy. I ask if the VTX guys were there but he said no. Maybe we can hook up with you or even the CMA group sometimes.

Hey guys!!!! Thanks a lot for the compliments. I was right where Robdogg said I was. Right in front of the CMA banner with all of the other CMA dudes. My buddies Roadstar (Black with candy red flames) was right next to mine. I painted his bike also. They said you could have up to five mods and still be in the stock class. So I was in the Stock Asian Class and ended up with first place in that class. I wonder where you would find the score sheets or a list of all those who were in your class. Hope to hook up with some of you here on the board sometime this season. Later!!!!

the score sheets were on the stage at the end of the show. had to go rumage though them to find them. congrats on first place. i was put into asian mild custom cruiser. had to many add ons to get stock. i was tring to find results on the show because i was not there when they handed out trophies the first time. that and it would be nice to see who won and who else was in the class. scoring sheets were very intersting though. i recieved a 91, 85, and 68. average was 81. have no idea how the one got a 68 but i figured wasn't bad for my first show. it was fun. i am sure we will meet up somewhere this year. think i am going on the MS poker run this year.

It would be nice to put together a Loess Hills Run since quite a few of us are in Eastern NE. Sorry Westerners :(

We did a LHSB run at the end of the season last year. It was a good time had by all. Definitly a good idea to do again, but wait until I get my bike back together! :D
