View Full Version : Verticle side mount license plate?

I've seen where a lot of people have mounted their license plates vertically on the side of their VTXs. Does anyone know if this is legal in Kansas?

Don't know if its perfectly legal, but I have seen tons of VSM (vertical side mounts) around here, and I have had one on my bike since October, never had any problems with Johnny Law. Well I take that back, for some crazy reason they don't like burnouts or 17 over the posted limit. Opps. But he never said a word about my plate.

It's legal....Tech's though, you are supposed to have a light for it. But I can't say I ever stopped anyone for that when I was on the street.
