Kick Stand Recall?? [Archive]

Has anyone else received a Recall from Honda about the kickstand? I guess there is a washer that could break and the kickstand may fall down while riding? The wife just found the notice last night while going thru the mail.

Probably only for the lesser "C" models. Damn sorry, dude.

Yes, I received one. The recall is for 2002 C and R (sorry WilsonDud) Models.

It's the Side Stand Spring Hook Bolt (to be specific), which might be defective.

If the repair has been done before December 20, 2004 you will be reimbursed by Honda.

After December 20, 2004, call a Honda dealer of your choice, take your bike in and they will fix it and not charge you. Takes about half hour. :)
