Honda Dealers in Southern Michigan / Northern Ohio???

I was out shopping today for a NEW 05 1300 Retro "Black"
and the best deal I could get was $9400.00 Tax / Plates
included out the door. I've seen other posts where people
have paid anywhere from $8,500 on up out the door.

Does anyone know of a Honda Dealer in the Southern Half of
Michigan who will sell this bike to me for $9200.00 or less?

I'll even consider making a trip to OHIO (Columbus, Cleveland,
or Dayton) if the Michigan Dealers won't budge on the inflated
price.

Thanks for your help.

I paid 13,000 OTD when I bought mine. So hearing prices like that and asking where you can get a better deal, just don't seem right...

I'd get it if I were you, and enjoy the riding. Summer is almost here.

See ya on the road...

Rickie - read his post again - he's talking about a 1300 not an 1800.

HDL - the people that sponsor (pay for) this website will sell you one. They have a dealership in Shadyside, OH - wherever that is. They are listing 1300Rs for $8100 + tax, etc. Check out this link:

http://hondadirectline.com/price.htm

In SE Michigan, try MetroPowerSports in Canton , US12 east of Belleville Road or Nicholson's in Ann Arbor, Jackson Road east of Zeeb Road.

I paid $12K OTD for my 1800 at Metro 2 years ago with $1K in accessories thrown in (Honda factory incentives) and they have come down dramatically in price since then. You should be able to get under $9K OTD on a 1300. Here's a link to Metro's webpage:

According to Streets&Trips, Shadyside is 133 miles east of Columbus, about 217.9 miles from Toldeo via a more direct route.

Andersons in Bloomfield Hills (Detroit) is having a sale and open house Saturday, March 5 from 9-6 PM. They are advertising 2003 1800C's for $7,995 with a free helmet. Ask for Steve in sales.

Otherwise, College Bike Shop in Lansing has a 2004 1300C left that they will deal on. Visit;

The best price I have found was at Town & Country Sports Center
They are located at the intersection of US-12 & 127 in Cement City Mich. just south of Jackson. I bought my 04 1300c last april. The MSRP on an 04 was $9200 for either model, C or Retro. I bought mine for $8400 plus tax. If intrested give them a call. The best sales person to deal with is Mitch .............1-517 547 3333
