Thanks. I will get with you pretty soon when the weather gets better. I have a little work to do on my 1800R before I ride it much. There's a "Fun Run" bike ride sponsered by a Goldwing group on April 24th that starts in Shawnee Mission Park, Lenexa, Kansas. Only $10 to register. It's a benefit for their Christmas charity fund. I have the flyer for this one. Also, there's a "Ride For Kids" bike ride on June 12th that starts at Maple Woods Community College located on Barry Road. This is a pretty big event. A Honda 250 Rebel will be given away at this ride. Don't know how much this event will cost yet. Just a couple of rides to think about. Is there any bike events going on up in your area? I was born and raised in St. Joe, so I know the city and surrounding area pretty well.

Yo! I live in Weston. I just bought a 2003 1800 Retro (what rhymes with orange?) with 2 miles on the odo from Honda Chanute Kansas. I also ride an 1999 Excelsior Henderson (project bike). My wife has 2000 H-D FXDL and a 2003 GoldWing Trike GL 1800. I'll be looking for other VTX riders when the weather warms up a bit. -chris

I too live in St. Joe. My biggest problem with getting together for rides is my days off, Wed. & Thurs. Another small problem is I rotate shifts monthly. If you ever have anything thats works with my screwy schedule, let me know.

Yeah, most of the bike runs are either on a Saturday or Sunday. That will be tough for you with your work schedule. But I will keep you on my list in case your schedule changes. Thanks for replying. :lol:

Thanks for responding. I will add you to my list. Maybe we can all get together for a short ride pretty soon when the weather gets better. I will try to set something up soon. Or possibly get together on one of the "sponsered" bike events coming up in April, too. I will send out some info. on a few of those events shortly.
