Anyone riding on Rt 144 near Lisbon today?

I thought I passed another VTX heading West on 144 near Lisbon at around 2:30. Any of yous?

What a great day for a ride! Even took the lining out of my jacket and was nice and comfortable. I hope that some of you made it out today as well.

I saw seven other bikes out there today, and waved at everyone as we passed, and was surprised to have my greeting not returned by four other riders; two were on sportbikes and two on Harley tourers. I know there are some folks who feel that it is stupid to wave at other bikers, but I think it's cool that there is some comaraderie out there among riders and some instances of friendliness on our often angry roads.

Wasn't me, but I made it out yesterday and took a short rise down to Annapolis. Lots of bikes out yesterday. Seems to me that around 90% of other bikers wave. I always do if I see them in time. Didn't see any X's yesterday. This weather really makes me wish summer was here.

while you are riding? I can't tell the difference if they are going the opposite direction from me. You guys must have better eyes than me. Everytime I think its an X, its a Harley. If I've ever passed another X, I didn't know it.

I like the waving thing too, and I've decided its a personal thing. I ride with Harley riders, some wave some don't. I'm not gonna take it personal. If they don't wanna wave, they don't have to. Probably just mad cause they paid twice as much, or more, for their bikes than we did.

i wave except i didn't at bike week. i would have looked like a bird flapping it's wings there were so many bikes.
