Welcome to the board! You will see that eventually the X will get under your skin, make you do things you never thought you might, covet chrome, tweak settings, scour catalogs, listen to exhaust notes in websites, buy tools, and .. uh, well, as you can see, it will pretty much take over your life..

Welcome!

Harker is my best buddy...has been for over 16 years. He was riding last year, on a 750 Shadow. Last summer, I made a trip down to GA last year. He already liked the X. But, once we went riding for a week, he was hooked on the X.

As for dressing up the bike, he's already addicted. He's only added a windshield, so far. But, like most of us, his wish list is long and extensive (AND expensive).

He knew what he was getting into.....and he dove in head first.

Welcome to the asylum.....I mean....the board. :? If you're wife is right, you'll fit right in. Seriously, VTXOA is a great reference forum...and can be entertaining, as well.

Congrats on the new ride!! If you are anything like I was then you will need to brush your teeth after the maiden voyage since after riding with a $h!# eating grin you will have plenty of bugs in them.

This is a great board... I am no wrench and at first I thought I would never do a mod and here I am putting on new pipes. Never would have happened if not for VTXOA.
