Wow a Utah VTX board

I stumbled across this board. I didn't realize there were any organized VTX people out here in Utah. I've been riding bikes since my youth...I'm now over 50. Picked up as candy apple red shadow in 2003. Felt I needed more power and picked up a VTX 1300 Retro last year. I love to ride. In May of last year my son and I rode up to Yellowstone. Got snowed on a couple of times. I don't like riding in the snow, but the trip was great. This year I picked up some wired gloves and socks. Now I can ride anytime, as long as I'm not slipping and sliding. I've riden every month this winter. Took a couple of trips down to St George. Each time I didn't see any other bikes on the road. I felt lonely. No one to give the lefted handed peace sign to.

Anyway, it is good to find a group of you here. Hope to link up.

bstone, first let me welcome you to our board. there are a lot of good folks here. the first real organized ride of the year is about to start sunday. hope to see you in one of the meeting places on sunday.

Read down a couple topics and you'll see the meeting places tomorrow morning before the Polar Bear ride starts. If you have some time today, you might want to go down and register at Harley of Salt Lake. If not you can register tomorrow morning (might be out of pins tomorrow morning). :D Welcome to the UT VTX riders board. If you like a lot of goodys for you bike check out the classifieds. Its suprising what you can find. :D Next time you plan a trip that gose to Idaho let my know.I'll take a ride with you. I grow up in Rigby and love the ride in the Mt. and back county. :D just pm me and I'll get back a.s.a.p. Fact is I might take a ride to Idaho at the end of this month. Any riders welcome.
