Got a quote from Westside Honda in Evansville to install new tires.

Quoted $400 for stock Dunlops
Quoted $600 for the Avon Venom R series

Installed and balanced pricing.

Aint this way too much?

Yes, I have been finding out that West Side is high on alot of their stuff. I bought a set of Dunlops installed at Big Four for less than $320.00.
A friend at work said they would put on tires that you get elsewere for $39.00 a tire mounted & balanced.
If you need work done by the dealer Southern Indiana Honda is cheaper on labor rates.

I owe my love for bikes to that lady....my Aunt. She is now 93 yrs young and still loves to ride. She and my Uncle rode Harley's to all the states and Canada/Mexico. He is deceased now, but Aunt 'Rene still has a million stories to tell. It's a true pleasure to look over the bike pics and here of her adventures on the bike........Im a lucky guy to still have here around.

I deal with them quite a bit and have found that once you find your best price mention this to them and if they can they will either match or beat that price. I normally work with a gentleman by the name of "Al Lynch", has always treated me fair. Try this, you've got nothing to lose by asking.

I have been dealing with Action Cycle in evansville or Southern Indiana Honda in Newburgh. Both seem to be really good to work with. Action is installing a Battleaxe 200 back tire for me on Wensday. Total installed is $220. Not to bad a price. I also ordered a set of progressive 412 from them.

let me know how you like your new shocks I'm thinking about up grading but can't make up my mind on which ones to get. I like the looks of the 440's but I cannot justifie the $$$.
