Oh man am I excited. I just got my '05 1800 F yesterday. Too bad we are getting 5-10 inches of snow here in the southern metro though.
This is my first post. I am sure I will be posting again as I have questions and eventually be able to contribute too.
I got the Silver Tribal and holy buckets does it look sweet in the garage.
I have had lots of sport and sport/standards but this is my first cruiser. What do I need to know you guys? Should I get a K & N air filter? What else? I will keep the stock pipes for now. I'll post a photo later on.

Welcome to the board and congrats on your new baby :D :D :D ! We have a great group here, I was able to retrieve my bike from storage in Mound last Monday with the generous help of fellow boardmember bigboybike. 33 degrees out and loved every 40 miles of it ! Where abouts are you located?

Hey Nexpatch....we gotta hook up sometime! I've been considering the new F model for my next bike, and I'd really like to see it sometime. :D I got together with photoman, bigboy, and wccoman a few weekends ago and put new springs in BigBoy's bike...and we all took turn's doing our own. This is a great group of guys, and any one of us would be willing to lend a hand where needed. I always enjoy talking bikes, so if you ever have any questions give me a shout. Here is a list of mods I have done so far:
-18" Arlen Ness Apes
-Kuryakyn turn signal mirrors
-Pro-1 Twisted grips
-Show Chrome switch boxes
-SS Brake, clutch, and throttle lines
-Valkyrie Headlight
-Progressive Fork Springs
-Swapped the cast wheels for spoked
-L&R Forward Controls
-Mustang vintage wide touring seat
-Mustang tank bib
-Cobra passenger boards
-Easy Brackets & Saddlebags
-11" Progressive HD rear shocks
-Kury silver bullet rear turn signals
-Clear Alternatives rear lense
-Kury Run/Turn/Brake controller
-Universal flasher
-Custom Old School sissybar
-Desmog Block off plates
-Thunder air kit w/K&N filter (40's Style cover)

Your bike looks fantastic. I don't think I'll do a whole lot with mine. I am pretty giddy about it the way it is. I bought a Nelson Rigg sissy bar bag, which will be nice to have.
