I'm sorry to hear that and I would urge you to re-consider.
I think the whole thing was blown out of proportion. All of this revolves around me questioning how decisions are made in this organization of ours and I feel somewhat responsible although it was never Eric or I's intention.
I have already gave my complete consent for the "governing body" to use the logo in any way they see fit but just asked that the process be explained to the entire body of members. I believe Eric feels the same way.
Sice shirts, resvoir covers and more have been made with the existing logo and in order for everyone to be able to fly the existing logo and not have to go thru the entire process all over again, I make this offer. If I am the only one who had these questions and I am the sole root cause for this I will back out from this board, delete my screen name and let you all go on happily with the existing logo in hand.
What say you all?

Well Hoss, as For U leaving, "HELL NO!!!!!!!" I My self am against this (New Logo) and Do Not Understand why all this Fuss :shock: :? I believe We should Leave it Alone and Be Happy!!!

U said it 100% True!!! This Should Not be a Matter Ownership or Copyright, As a matter of fact, I view the Logo being used on Accessories-Apparel is "FREE" Advertising :) :)
And Again, HOSS as for U Leaving, "HELL NO" U are Going No were!!!!
And I second the Request, Reconsider the Logo Change!!

VTHeXer - Why are you disrespecting the Florida VTX community?
Who said the current Logo was a problem?
When did you poll the Florida membership to ask their oppinion?
What about all the persons who already have shirts from HAL with the current Florida logo?
You need to answer to the membership of this board or YOU ARE NOT NEEDED!
You owe an explanation as to why you are disrespecting this membership by not polling them for their input before you take ANY action.

Hear Hear what John said, Get a copy of Roberts Rules and read it on how to conduct and organizational meeting. Waiting on a reply also. Was there no notice of this meeting so we the members could talk with our area cordinators on issues concerning the VTX community.

I want to THANK YOU IN PUBLIC for taking the time to answer my questions. You made the reasons for changing the logo clear. I apologize if I offended you. I wanted you to understand how a VTX member feels when they are not informed on serious issues. I guess there was something to learn. I will keep in touch with my area coordinator so I can stay informed on all issues being discussed and provide feedback to him.

Thanks for the response, I do understand. I also understand Nastx owes me $40.00 for logo material that is still in the mail to me. I'll take that up with him, we will meet one day.

If Hoss and NastyX want to continue for the Florida VTX group to use their logo then why not make it officially binding so that this is resolved once and for all. Construct a document that transfers use of the logo to the Florida group and that would solve it for me. Hoss and NastyX could still own the logo but the document could allow unlimited use forever to the Florida VTX Group.

Eric, Thank You!! I could NOT agree More.. I Too am Very Happy with the Logo, As U Know I have Been one of the Guys wanting a Patch, Pin, And Shirts for quite some time! Just could Not get the Funds to Cover it, and am Now happy WE/Fla X Riders have a Logo We can Build On.. Lets Please Leave Well enough Alone, PLEASE!!!

I think the logo is great, and it seems that the creator's are being as cooperative as possible. Thanks them and move on.

I understand perfectly YOU'RE still not getting it. It's not the Florida Leadership TOO. The decisions on the use of the logo or not must be a majority vote of the Florida Coordinators ONLY....not TOO. Is that plain enough slick boy.

This thing needs to end and Florida VTX Riders needs to beigin moving forward again. So here it is in a single statement/question for each of the 2 designers, Hoss and NastyX:
Mark-Hoss: will you agree to the following:
The statement must be I Mark Bixler (aka Hoss) give full use, ownership and assignment of the Florida VTX Riders logo that I co designed with Eric (need a last name here) (aka NastyX) to the Florida VTX Riders Coordinators with a majority vote of the Florida VTX Riders Coordinators required to authorize it's use by anyone.
NastyX-Eric: will you agree to the following:
The statement must be I Eric (need a last name here) (aka NastyX) give full use, ownership and assignment of the Florida VTX Riders logo that I co designed with Mark Bixler (aka Hoss) to the Florida VTX Riders Coordinators with a majority vote of the Florida VTX Riders Coordinators required to authorize it's use by anyone.
If you agree, post a reply that you can cut and paste the statement above that applies to you. We will then figure out how to get a true signed copy of the statements to me. Once that is done, this thing is over. I'd appreciate your responses by midnight Friday 03/25/05. If either of you feel that you can't agree by midnight Friday 03/25/05, then the logo you guys did gets aborted and we begin moving forward to develope a new one.
One way or another this issue gets decided by midnight Friday 03/25/05!

If this is what its VTXOA N.Fl is all about, you can have it.
