Here are some tasks that can be accomplished during tech day and the parts associated.

Oil Change - 5 Quarts your favorite Oil, Honda OEM oil filter, Crush washer - 20 minutes
Clutch Springs - Barnett Clutch Springs - 1 hour
Front fork Springs - Progressive Front Springs - 1-2 hours
Air Kit - Your Airkit of choice - 2 hours
Desmog - German Pete covers - HDL has them - 1/4 - 1/2 inch rubber plug - Sears has a collection kit - 2 Hours
Expansion Fuse - Tulsa 6 circuit fuse - 1 hour

Other - Risers, foot pegs, cables, hand grips - if Hand Grips bring required glue

Would not recommend anything huge for this day - like Brake lines - that can take up to 4 hours, anything additive electrical (running lights).

Rob - if you can think of anything I missed - please post.

Also - I have a number of parts that I ordered new for the customization that I am either not using or can't use that you can take a look at and see if you want. Final drive chrome bolt cover, lower tree Kewel Metal cover plate for fat forks

I have a couple used pieces too - Jett ink side mount license plat holder and Chrome drive shaft cover.

I was planning on installing my exhaust, HPP module and front Progressive springs during tech day. HDL is currently resending my pipes. They should be here today or tomorrow. Once they get here, I will get the bung installed. Already have the other parts. Then I just have to wait for tech day and some good weather to get here. :)

Pipes are no biggie. I have not done an HPP but Rob is a master on the elctrical side of things.

I would suggest we put a plan of action together that we first triage all the bikes and determine what can be done in parallel - that way we can knock out some of the easy stuff like grips, risers, oil, airkits - while we tackle Desmog, front springs, and others.

I think we can probable get 2 - Springs and 2 Desmogs done - those take time. We intend to teach while doing this so if you all don't expect to get dirty then fuggetaboutit!!

Once we do one Desmog - then have the trained crew work on the second bike with ovesight

Oh I definately want to learn. I figure that it is my bike and I should know it inside and out. Hopefully over time I can become that knowledgeable. :)

I want to know about every graceful curve on my baby!

That is the attitude we are looking for!

Should be a great day. Hopefully we will have nice weather and be able to tryout the mods on the road together.

I suggest bringing your stuff over in a box the night before. That way 1) you will know how to get here and 2) not have to worry about caring all that stuff with the bike. Then you guys can come back on Sunday and pick up either your empty boxes or the left over parts we remove - unless of course you what all that tossed.

I order the "Kuryakyn Pro Series Hypercharger" last night. I hope it gets here in time..... I am sure this will require a jet kit. If there is time for installing that would be great... if not, I hope to get dirty helping out with the work everyone else it doing.......

Where and when is this going to take place?

I would like to remove my pair valves and have the cover plates.

Is this something that could be done?

I don't have anything that I need installed, but I would love to attend, just to watch and learn. Also, I'd be happy to lend a hand, as long as you all realize I'm not mechanically inclined.

Come on Chip. With a bike like that, you had to pick something up, even if someone else built it. :)

Right now it is scheduled for April 23th (Sat). I may need to move to APril 30 but will not know for a week. It will be at my place. I will provide directions shortly.

Pair Valve is one of the tasks that we can take on
