I see on the Yahoo site that we can order pins, although I could not figure out how. There is a place to vote on what the group wants to have the patch say. Is this done and are the patches available to buy? If so how do I order the patch and pins. :?:

I think the patches are in the beginning stages. Our fearless leader Arch has been away from the coputer for a few days. I'll suggest to him when I talk to him, to come over here and post an update. Hang in there, we'll gitterdunn
Any other oregonXriders know anything on the subject feel free to chime in

Jimbo and all,
I'm working with the vendor that the Washington group is using for their patch. Ours would be blue and yellow/gold (state colors) instead of the black and silver. They sent me an e-mail today and told me what information they needed.
As soon as I have the pricing and a picture I'll post it here.
The patch design is the first patch we all agreed on when we started putting this together. If you want you can go over the Wash. groups website and take a look at the patch their.
As for the pins we had an order for 73 and needed to have 100. If we are still interested they are available. I have all the e-mails with who wanted what so I'll pull that together if you all don't remember what you ordered.
I think Gary was buying a full 100 for himself!!! :)
I'll post more later.

Thanks OB,
Would you mind posting the list of names with the number of pins they ordered? I believe we were at 73 last count.
Once we revisit the number and reach the minimum for an order, we'll need to fiqure out the best why to collect the money. I have a Pay-Pal account that we may be able to use if everyone doesn't mind.
Thanks again for the help on this one Bob!

Patch update.
Urgent.
I need to get in touch with someone who's good with a graphics program that is willing to help me modify our exsting patch design.
(Need to change Washington to Oregon; change colors to State colors of blue and yellow/gold and add two/three stars or diamonds on each side of Oregon to fill it out.)
Once this is done it will go to the company who'll be giving us the pricing and timeframe for making our patch.
If we can't find someone within our group or someone who would be willing to do it for no cost, we'll need to pay to get it done.
Let me know as soon as you can so we can get the patch cost and start taking orders.
Thanks All!

Everyone check out VTXBob's post below. He's listed the names and number of pins you've asked for from previous posts.
Please check it over and either confirm or send us any changes in the number of pins you want ordered.
As soon as we reach the minimum number (I think it's 150) we will start collecting the money.
Thanks All
Arch
*VTXBob, would you mind posting the per pin price and confirm the minimum order for us.
Thanks buddy.

Arch I may be able to help, I don't know you would have to show me the details, and if anyone else would like to take a stab at it also would be great. I am more concerned with trying to find time to help do it.

The Yahoo site says there are 59 group members if each member only buys two that is 118 pins an meets the minimum order. So the lets hear from the members who haev not ordered pins yet,so the pins can get ordered.

I'd take a couple pins, although I don't know what they look like. Ditto on the patches when that gets sorted out.

Yeah I agree with you Jimbo,
There's a group that doesn't check in on the sites that often so it may be time for a mass mailing to everyones e-mail; letting them know were getting an order together.
Although would like to have the patch info nailed down and send it all out at once.
I think we are getting real close. Lets give it another couple days.

Hey Arch, you should start a new thread with the list of pin/patch buyers. Dont forget, you can click and open up your post, push the "edit" button and update as people post their orders. Beats carrying around a scratch pad or re-posting over and over again with new additions.
