With the excellent assistance of Robdogg - the 240 bike project is complete. Not withstanding a few minor glitches I have to say that I am pretty proud of this accomplishment. It was a major overhaul and I am happy to say it was build with my hands - and Robbs of course

Here is what I put on the bike:
Thrasher Front Fender fromPaul Mott Ent.
SumoX kit from Glacial Graphics
Genesis Front and Rear billett Wheels from Glacial Graphics
Paint from Glacial Graphics
Switchblade Side covers from Paul Mott
Kury stilletto foot pegs and front axle bolt covers
Kury light bar
Desmog - GP covers
Speigler Brake and Clutch Lines
Barnett Clutch Springs and Stainless Throttle Cables
Iron Braid hand grips and covers
Kury silver bullet rear lights
GlacialGraphics left side mount license plate holder
Thunder Baffle knockoffs from Jon on the board - Sound awesome but I am getting decel popping that I didn'thave before.
I already had the Paul Yaffe Z bars and the Choppers Inc Risers and Dakota DigitalTach/Speedo
Biggest bitch project - Brake Lines - I cross threaded one manifold, and broke about 3 banjo bolts from Speigler - they have great customer service but their banjos arecheap aluminum - be very careful with these if you make this mod.

Thanks guys. Took it out today for a break in ride about 20 miles. First impressions - with the Progressive front springs and the big rear end - I had no problem throwing the bike into the twisties - not that there are many in Nebraska :)
So from a handling perspective - no perceptable difference to me. However - foot position is taking some getting used to. I am sitting about 2-3 inches further back with the new seat. This extends my legs nicely but puts my foot at and angle to be comfortable. So I need to adjust the new Kury Stilletto pegs with more angle.
The infamous Kury light bar has a light out already - I have not checked to see if it is a loose wire or a burnt bulb. Will check and report back.
The engine is amazing - with the pair valves removed it has a deeper sound and the Thunder Mtn baffles are much louder and deeper than the stock V&H baffles - I like the sound much more. But now it has some decal popping but I kind of like it - makes the bike seem real bad a$$.
Oh the last impression is that I have not replaces the wind screen yet so I am taking the wind full in the face. 45 MPH and I am tearing up. Unfortunately i am limited to eyeware because I am supposed to be wearing corrective lenses to ride - bummer.
I will put the Rifle shield on tonight and see what it does to the look.
I past a few riders who all did double takes. So much for being anonymous.
Looking forward to the tech day. See you all there.
