I was wondering if anyone wants to get together for a mod day. Get as many guys as possible in the area and do all the little mods we can; like desmog, rattle fixes, ground fixes, fuel line mods, and what ever else we can think of. Anyone up for it?

Sounds like a good idea .Let me know I'm just on the other side of the bridge neighbor!. Just let me know when.Only I really don't have a big enough garage to host people. Just working out of the shed here.

I have a two car garage on two acres, with all the tools, so I could host.
I am calling Razzies Thursday about a serious rust issue with my bike. Lets just say I hope they take care of it

back when i was looking to upgrade last spring from a 650vstar i had bought at Razees i went there and didn't find what i was looking for. finally found my orange "x" at New England CycleCenter in Groton. i'll tell ya, what a difference in dealerships, Razees seemed to not care about ya after buying from them but NE Cycle is lots friendlier. i went in yesterday while out riding and the salesguy who sold me the bike not only remembers me and the bike but BS'd with me about stuff for half an hour not trying to sell anything else just BS'ing and asked how i like my "x" etc. going in for spring servicing saturday (looks like riding in the rain now) and Mike in service qouted around $145, more for synthetic which i'll be putting in, servicing on vstar at Razees was closer to $300. until folks at Razees starts treating folks better i won't even buy spray cleaner from them.

well at this point I may be taking my bike somewhere else. I wrecked it going to see them about the warrenty. They want two weeks to write an estimate on it. That is way too long. Lord knows how long it will take them to do the work. Also I am trying to get a rusting frame replaced under warrenty and I don't think they will have time to do it. I didn't buy from them and I think that is part of the problem, but I am in the NAVY who cares who I bought from. I will call NECC and ask them how long it would take. Thanks for the info

when i was getting the vstar serviced at Razees i always had to make appointments about 1 month in advance, they always said were busy and good luck getting back on same day.

NECC is pretty busy as well. Said it would be awhile before they could get to the work if this summer. So I built a platform last night in the garage to host the VTX on. I am also going to build a suspension to I can hang the bike from it and replace the front end. Everyone is free to come help when I get the bike back!! :D

Yeah, sounds real familiar. I dont have much longer here either, getting out as it would be. Good thing you aren't around too see how the MA's are not. E-6 with 4 yrs under belt and no leadership ability. Sad if you ask me, but that is neither here nor there.
