Are there any X riders in North Mississippi? I live just outside of Olive Branch, in Marshall county, and would like to meet some of ya'll!
Who's in for a meet and greet this weekend?

I grew up in Olive Branch, but I live in Collierville now.
Took a nice back-roads ride down 305 to Lewisburg, Love, Coldwater, Arkabutla and Savage before heading north to pass the casinos and head back through Hernando on the way home.
140 miles from Home to Home. Real nice break-in ride on the new bike.

Hey Guys, I have a brother in Senatobia who's anxious find other folks to ride with on trips around your areas. If you can, I would appreciate if he could hook-up with you guys for some time behind bars. Email me & I might just hook-up too. :D

I apologize for getting into this discussion so late. I live in Horn Lake. Fairly new rider-July last year. Would love to ride with the xtreme folks. Would like to ask if you have any problem with an 03 Fat Boy that my lady rides in the mix?

Fantastic- we like to ride whenever the opportunity presents itself. I'm sure everyone here understands the value of xtreme therapy. Our rides often require some coordination since she lives over by Horseshoe Lake, AR. Forecast looks good for this weekend. What ya'll think?

I am up to ride! Hey Realbob, why don't you and your brother join us. What does everyone think about meeting up at the poker run on May 21? That would be an excellnt time to meet some members and get some ridin' in...all for a good cause too! somebody let me know what's up!

Think this is probably a better idea for me and my lady. She had an accident last weekend that prohibits her from wearing her boots right now. I expect she will be recovered by that time. Looking forward to meeting ya'll.

Sounds like a plan. I've been wanting to hear a VTX with aftermarket pipes on it. :D

You won't be dissappointed. Rode the xtreme machine to Bikes on Beale a month ago and the gallery assembled there was carrying on that it sounded as good or better than a Harley. Of course at a fraction of the cost.
Don't have the PC III installed yet. Wanted to wait until I have the $ to take it to Precision V Twin in Nesbit to put it up on the dyno. They have some custom MAPs to optimize air/fuel ratios at several throttle settings. Otherwise it sucks up the fuel in no time. Thats how I got it from the previous owner for half of retail. Talk about can't wait-That will be awesome.

The talk to date has been around the OB run-recognized and worthy charity! We haven't read anything lately about realbob and his brother. I'm sure I can speak for all that the more the merrier. Gentlemen, am I on target? I just wanna ride, so from where is immaterial. On the other hand, if we need someone to make a decision, I'm on for OB.

I'm in for the OB ride. $15 gets you in the poker run and you get BBQ at the end. :D

Mine is a Black 1800RS that's mostly stock. I'll probably have a buddy on a yellow Suzuki GSXR with me.

I am assuming this ride is rain or shine. Forecast for tomorrow is rain.
Just as a way of picking me out- I have added a red tank decal with the flaming VTX knights helmet. Picked it up from Dawgs Cycle Graphics out of IL. It will probably be closer to 10 than 9 before I get there. Have to go into the office first thing Saturday and keep the wheels turning. My lady won't be joining us this ride as her business has been absolutely bombarded with work that has her working 8 days a week.

Desoto Honda has a poker run on the same day. If you enter to ride in it they are givig 20% dicount to all participants. When is the first bike out from the soccer fields? This is the one ya'll are riding in....correct?

no, extreme voltage one, I believe the one we have more or less agreed upon is in Olive Branch. Its proceeds are charitable donations rather than an enticement to buy.

Yep. We're planning to do the OBPD led ride from the soccer fields.
I wonder if that 20% is on top of the 10% I already get for buying my bike there. :?

Forgive me as I'm fairly new to the area (moved here from GA in 9/03). Are we talking about the sports field complex on Getwell Road near DeSoto Honda as a jumping off point? The beginning of this string talked about church and 305. My girl tells me I am quick to get lost  so can someone nail this down for me?

Church Road & Hwy 305 is the starting point. It's the George (not a Beatle) Harrison Park.

Any idea of someplace that has K&N filters for the 1800 in stock? Went to K&Ns website and got a couple of car parts places in Horn Lake that have to special order them. Other places listed as well, but don't want to spend all morning hunting them down. Also no clue what the expense is on these, although it is really immaterial.
Also for the record, I had a blast this last weekend in OB. Fantastic to meet all of you. Anyone know of another ride week after next, let me know.
Karen and I are also marking our calendars for the end of Sept. Bitbrain was talking about running the Ozarks. We're in. Any idea of the specific dates?

Y'all can get the info for the Hillbilly Run to the Ozarks (HRO) at http://groups.msn.com/InTheWind/hillbillyruntothe.msnw.
The dates for the 6th HRO 2005 are September 30th - Oct 2nd.
There's also a message board and some photo galleries on the site.

Moochas grassyass my friend.
BTW, the Kury grips went on like a charm Sunday, longest part was getting all the old glue off with 70% isopropyl alcohol-the directions suggest measuring the left handlebar to fit in a spacer if needed. Don't need it.
