Just wanted to thank everyone for coming to Tech Day at my place. The enthusiasm for the X and the comoradary was excellent. Special thanks to the Uber Wrench - Rob - this man knows how to do it all!!
Next time I will plan to include some food into the activities - i could not believe how hungry I got after 9 hours of wrenching

Yep! Thank you, Andy, for making your space available to us, and to your family for putting up with us. My thanks to Robb, for the non-standard install of my light bar, and to Chris, Dave, and Pester, for their patience and help. It was great meeting all of you today, and I hope we can have many other days together!

Yeah, I had a great time today. It was good to meet the local VTXer's. Thanks to all who helped and Andy for the place to do it. After getting home and looking at my bike with the V&H installed I started liking it again. I was loosing interest in it when Chip and Andy had their bikes parked outside. Mine just looked so damn basic. Heh heh. Take care..

By the time I got home, I was trying to make my bike backfire with the HPP and I couldn't get it to. I figured it would take more than 15 miles to get the HPP configured.

GREAT JOB ROB!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Here is a link to the pics. Chip my wife REALLY liked your paint job. She wasn't even set back by the cost. Now I just have to figure out how I can pay for one.

Raider,

Glad to hear the bike's running good. Rob is DA MAN when it comes to that stuff. When I got home tonight, I did about the only thing that I know how to do....take out baffles. This thing is LOUD now! I'm going to have a headache after riding tomorrow.

Sounds like you got the green light from the boss on a new paint job. Just to get the ball rolling, here's Kurt's website: :D

I am definitely thankful it worked out for me to make the trip up for no other reason than to meet all of you. It was great to meet everyone and check out their scoots. vtxraider, great photos!!!! Thanks for sharing them. Looking forward to getting together again!!!!

Just wanted to thank everyone involved in organizing this event. I had been hoping for an opportunity to see how other VTX'ers had customized their bikes, and be able to ask some questions. I've got alot to learn about working on my bike, but it's nice to know that there is a good group of guys out there that have alot of knowlege and experience.

With all the different bikes today, I was able to finalize some of my plans for upgrades. But I also saw some things that really caught my eye, and are much better than what I had planned. I thought I had my seat choices down to 2, but, after today, I have to say that is has now increased to 3. After talking with everyone today, it sounds like it's hard to go wrong with either the Corbin, Mustang, or Ultimate.

Thanks again, and I hope that the Tech Day becomes a regular event.

Hat’s off to you and your family Andy for hosting the tech day at your house. It was a great turn out, and I learned a lot watching the mechanical wizards in action. (Robdogg, Dave L, Nebtiger, Uncle Ford and others. )

I love the Air system and Progressive springs that we installed, thanks again for the help Dave, Uncle Ford, Andy.

Enjoyed the pics byVTXRAIDER and ANDY.

Looking forward to any rides get a chance to go on.

I was rereading my post about tech day and realized that I forgot to thank Andy for the use of his garage and helping me with my brakes and fork springs.

In fact after looking at my pics, I want to thank everyone who helped with my fork springs. After my wife looked at the pics, she asked how were 8 people able to all work on the same thing on the same bike at the same time.

Glad it went well. Hope to make it out if it happens again. Just try to make it on a warmer day. :D I don't think I could have made the 3 1/2 hour ride at 50 and 30 mph winds.

It really was a great day and great session. We got a lot accomplished in a very short amount of time. I appreciate the nice comments, it was really a team effort though, everyone contributed in some way or other. Thanks to Andy and his family for sponsoring the location and giving up their day, and thanks to all that pitched in to make it a success. I look forward to having another get together. I'm planning on doing a BBQ type thing at my place sometime soon. I will just a ride in and hang sort of thing, maybe tinker on a bike or two but probably not a full tech day.

For those of you that didn't get all of your projects completed we might try to organize a small session to complete those.
