View Full Version : South FL XRiders
Ahhhhhhhh, we finally have a forum for our South Florida riders. Looks like you guys down there South of the Border (Broward / Palm Beach County Line) are getting things together. Not sure if I'll get that far South very often.
Would like to see a few XRiders here in the Palm Beach County area get together to compare notes.
Hey West Palm.....where are you guys?

Looks like you are stuck in the middle There is a good group of Xers in Central Florida that get together all the time, and now South Florida is getting it together. Which way to ride North or South?
North or South? You're right I'm stuck in the middle, but I do know there ARE XRiders here in Palm Beach County. I'll just have to rustle them up here to keep in touch.
Maybe someday we can merge the North and South together for a yearly XRiders event.

Hell, Palm Beach County is only a 20 minute ride up/down 95

I have already started the ball rolling on getting some type of Event where North and South Florida can meet up for a weekend / Day. I am trying to find somewhere around Sebring where camping and hotels are both available.
Any suggestins?

here in Parkland, N/O Coral Springs, just S/O Boca. I can hit the Loxahatchee canal with a rock. I guess what I'm saying is it took me 1/2 hr to get to Davie last night and it would take me 1/2 hr to get to W. Palm. So, either way for me. Just tell me when and where I'm riding to...LOL
There are a few VTX riders that appear weekly at Bonefish Creek on Okeechobee Blvd and Military Trail on Wednesday nights.
This Wed, it's kickoff to Daytona Bike Week. Should be lots of bikes there. You Xriders down South, it's just a 30 min ride up the Turnpike.

I'm in Loxahatchee, not everyone is south of the PB/Broward line. Let me throw this out, anyone interested in "round the lake ride" in the near future? Know a lot of the riders will be going to Daytona, just an idea.

I don't think there is now or ever will be a dividing line. It's not a membership thing.

Thanks about the neither N or S. I'm willing to ride to whereever as long as it isn't so far away that I have to make am overnighter out of it. How long do you think from Ft. Myers to Okeechobee using 80 to 29 and up?

Are you talking Okeechobee Blvd in WPB? If so I think your probably looking at about 45min to an hour if you take 95. Not sure this helps. Maybe someone from WPB could help more.

Hello Hammerhead,
Glad to see some Palm Beach County riders chime in here. I'd like to do the "round the lake ride" sometime soon.
Do you ever show up at bike night on Wed at Bonefish Creek?
