Insurance in Charlotte Area

Any one live in the Charlotte area with a good price on insurance. I have just liabilty $175 a year U.S. Insurance company. Would like to get full coverage but they are quoting $950?

Any one else have a good rate?

I just bought my VTX and got liability at $180 / 6mths or $360 / yr.

I don't usually get full coverage, too expensive. Plus I always figure that if I do more than $500 - $1,000 worth of damage to the bike, I've got bigger problems ;-)

I'm in Charlotte and my girlfriend is in Cornelius. I got lucky, she likes to ride. If you want to get together for a ride one day, let me know!

This is what I was quoted for full coverage for my 02 VTX. It would be $748 for one year. The coverage on this policy are bodily injury limits of $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident, and $50,000 property damage. The underinsured and uninsured motorists coverages are $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident, and $50,000 property damage. The deductibles would be $500 for comprehensive and $500 collision. Towing and roadside assistance is also included.

befor i went to pegram. my rate was $1008.00 per year, with clean record. Moved to pegram, dropped to 548.00 per year.
vtx-xtc, did your rate drop by moving to Pegram?

I was with state farm and yes it dropped.:) I do not have a perfect driving record. :oops:
