WhoÂ’s interested in a bike stand?

Revisiting the bike stand for those interested. Mike (SLIMPHATBOY) has really championed this project; he has designed and built one. Mike owns a machine shop and this is a simple item for him to build. He has expressed a willingness to build these for next to nothing for the Neb VTX Riders on this batch. I do not want him to loose money on this as the racks will benefit anyone that gets one. He does not have a price set as that depends on the interest. Basic costs Materials <$15, Powder coat < $10, I’d like to see him get enough to cover gas $ to take the racks to the powder coater and misc. shop materials. Still we won’t know exact price till the quantity is known.

How wide are they? I'd like to know if they'd fit the 750 also (remember I told you that it has a wider frame than the VTX)

Mike sent me a Pic of the stand.

The prototype is different than the ones he is making for club members in that they will be powder coated (don't what color) and will have rubber strips on top of rails. http://bigbikeriders.com/photopost/data/3231/1092Bike_Stand_1.JPG
