I tell you what. When we were Daytona, we stopped by Jim Walker there in Daytona. They had a black 2005 VTX 1300 Retro decked out. Man that Black VTX was awesome looking. Mustang Sets, and all kinds of goodies. I was drooling.

Then as we were walking out there was a guy there who was trading in a harley davidson in for a bike I guess. Looked brand new almost. There were quite a few harley riders there wanting to buy a new Honda. That VTX man was awesome. I can't get it out of my head. WOW

Hey Jorgex1800,

Well this time I am taking a ride down your way. I don't know how many I can get to go down that way, but I think that would be a good ride. Not sure what would be the best route. I would like ride down there when there is an event or something like that going on. Ya'll got anything going on this weekend?

hey T

funny you should ask about happenings and events going on....

on May 14th, Honda Direct Line is opening thier warehouse for a couple of hours for all of us to go shopping.

Hal is offering 10% off regular merch and will also have a super sale area for one off, overstocked and slightly irregular stuff for 25-90% off. WHAT A DEAL

after that, Hal is treating us to lunch at the Golden Corral. YIPPEE....free food.

i am not versed with the whole cut and paste thing on this board yet, so i will tell you to check the posts on the south florida board.

we are meeting at holiday park by 10:30 and kicks up at 11am.

it would be fantastic for you and everyone else over ther to join us.

i think the best route to take is 95 or the turnpike down to 595 west. then to 75 north. you will see an exit for US 27 south (about 3 exits after getting on 75). about 5 miles down US 27 will be Holiday Park.

Steve from Palm Beach (lives in Jupiter) is getting a group together, check with him for the ride down.

hope you can make it and look forward to meeting you.

Denise

P.S. - thx Jorge

Well I agree with Denise to a point. After getting on 595 I would take 75 south to the Griffin Road exit than head west right into the park. Your choice, just my .2

Now that sounds like a winner. Just the free food is good. I will see what riders I can get together up here. Sounds like fun. Not only that, the wife has told me that I could get some Chrome goodies for my VTX 1300 Retro. Man I am ready for dressing up my ride.

Thanks dpearly. I hope to see you there.

WOW, the approval to spend money......now that is love....

hehehe

steve.....75 to griffin is prettier, but speeds are much slower.....lights and more traffic.....whichever way.....no matter.....as long as you get there.

I'm not sure but would it be easier to go tnpke to sawgrass?? Or is the tolls and alot of bikes a problem???

tolls on the turnpike or construction on 95.....6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other.

i think it will be what everyone is most comfortable with.

Well I dont' have any problem with the toll. I like a clean shot. Construction is ok too, but man you have to watch out for the cagers.
Oh man you should see the commercial on Geico. Showing nothing but VTX.

Cool
