Hey all.... I hope we all are getting healthy and ready for some riding!? Ive not been well for a time but Im well on the road to recovery...
I went to Skullbone Tenn., the weekend before last and have to let you know it was a great ride but the rally sucked!. it was small and there were too many cages in the park as well as 4 wheelers.. together they out numbered the bikes... The cars and trucks were up and down the roads, paths and there was little room for the bikes. The music was okay though... this is an annual thing but I don't think Ill go back! You can see the web site at skullbonemusicpark.com
We started out Friday morning and the ride there was great. The sun was out the sky was blue and the temp was about 85 by the time we got there. Sat. was cold, 40, rainy and most part crappy!.. we went to a Honda/ Harley shop in Union City Tenn and had a good time making fun of the Harleys  , Sat night there was a wet T shirt contest but it was about 40 degrees and water was not really needed. We left at about 10 pm and there was frost on the bikes.. Brrrrrrr!! We left at about noon on Sunday to come home. The temp was about 60-65 but the sun was out and the ride was a good one... we put about 750 miles on the bikes.
The ride and company was great..... in the group there were two VTX's a Two fat boys a Heritage an Electra Glide and a Suzuki intruder. What a diverse group :P
Are there any rides planed, local or otherwise? It's getting better every day and we need to ride the roads... There are some of us planning on going to the Back Woods Boogie in Malvern over the memorial day weekend 5-27, 29-05. you can see this on lets-ride.com then go to Arkansas page.
There are several other rides that are in the works... if you all have some in mind please post them and lets get together and ride..... Yeeeeeee ha!!!!
