I would like to get an idea of how many of you guys are coming to my place this Sat (7th) for the tech session/get together. Chime in please and let me know if you can make it. Please show up even if you don't need anything done to your ride. I will throw some brats on the grill........... Let's all get together and just meet new friends and talk shop. Should be a good time. I will send out directions for those who want to come.

Hey there Show...weather permitting I'll be there. What time? You mentioned doing the de-smog on your bike, do I need to bring any tools with me?

I bought a new torque wrench the other day and new 1/2" drive ratchet and sockets (up to like 30MM). I should be good there. If there is anything I am forgetting, bring it. I am not sure my de-smog kit or handlebars will be here by Sat. I am hoping though. I'll let ya know.

As far as time for Sat.......9 or 10 I guess. I will cook brats for lunch and have cold adult beverages for those that would like to partake and water or cokes for those that don't. Anything else........bring it. Let me know what your ideas are.

Hey guys, just got back from trip.... missed Thunder Beach.... but won't miss the tech session on Saturday. I would like to do the de-smog on my bike and I DO have the German Pete block-off plates for mine. Also want to do the electrical grounding mod while we have it all opened up. I found the directions to the house on my e-mail at the house and I am planning to be there by 10:00am on Saturday. SHOW, I got your voicemail while on the trip but could not respond. I hated missing the show, but it looks like the weather was not working for you here..... so I didn't really miss out. See you guys Saturday!!!!!

Show...you will need a small pair of vise grips, small metric wrenches, various metric sockets,....nothing special. Oh, and some black high temp RTV to seal the GP blankoffs....also, NWFloridaXTRMX mentioned wanting to do the ground fixes...if anyone has a stripper/crimp tool, various sizes of crimp ends (mainly rings) and some stranded wire (14GA?) you could run coil ground wires at the same time to eliminate some of the ground problems that pop up...just a suggestion, worked on mine 8)

If we need anything, I will run to the parts store. I am sure I am missing something for the clutch springs. I have the blue RTV but not the black. Guess we will have to run for that maybe.

I guess there will only be a very few of us here. I will post pictures to show off what everyone else missed.

See you all tomorrow.
