Sundance and Pi will be the Tourmasters for this ride. We will be meandering through his(and mine as a kid) country (weather permitting)
This is a will do ride, meaning that if we are rained out, we will re-sched this ride for some other Sunday.
It rolls through Dallas, Monmouth, Pedee, you know, the kinda places that when ya pull off the side of the road, turn off your motor, make a tube shape with your hand held to your ear, you can hear the faint, but distinct melody of "Dueling Banjo's"

Let's "Cowboy Up", even if the weather looks iffy 8)
Cool, so far we have

Sundance and Pi
Arch
Brad
David
Derek
Other Bob
Mike
Steve Jackson
Dennis
Big O'l Bob (I think)
Warden
Tim (Connie?)

Just keep chiming in guys and I'll keep adding names

The Ride will begin at the K-mart at 10am (hywy 22 exit off of I-5)

A group of Portlanders will be headed down to that location, we will meet in Downtown Portland, on the Corner of SW11th & Clay St (2 blocks from PSU) Gassed up at ready at 915am

 Ok, I'll be glad to lead a leap day putt if Pi and I can Make it. Weather and stuff you know. Perhaps we can meet @ Kmart, putt over to Gary's land and take our first rest at the covered bridge by Pedee. Have lunch in Philomath. Next, the train trestle of commuter displeasure. There is not much parking there though. It's right along the HWY. It's hard to imagine 25 Bikers lined up along the railroad tracks, throwing rocks at Amtrack trains. Mabey we can bring wristrockets and shoot from a distance so everyone can enjoy. We'll see. Until then, later friends! Sundance. :x

Cool Buddy, I'm glad your up for it. The weather will definately be up in the air, we'll just have to take it day by day. We can certainly compile the details though and reset it for another day if the weather isn't good. Pedee, wow I have been out there since I was a kid. My Grandparents had a farm out there from the time I was like 6 or 7 till I was 12. Got shipped out there many a summers for a month or two to be used for cheap farm labor while my parents I'm sure were partying their butts off. Those were some great days :D Maybe our putt will take us past it and I'll regognize it. I still remember the day vivdly, at the farm just my Granny and me when the Military car drove down the driveway and imformed us that my uncle Harvey had been killed in Vietnam. I dont wanna miss this putt, so make sure it happens on a Sunday OK Buddy

Hey Sundance, has Pedee turned into an actual town now?
I remember it to not be a town but more like an area, with only one Minit Mart gas station combo. I remember Gramps and I always stopped there after a long hot day in the fields, to buy 2 beers for the way home , one for each of us.
Grampa's, ya gotta love em, buying beer for a 10 year old

Your gramp sounds like my Dad Manwhor. Well, Pedee has a school bus stop now, a church, and the minimart too. Also there is a black cat that likes to stalk jersy cows. The cat will work it's way up close to the cow, the cow will face the cat, then after a while, rush the cat and chase it off. Then the whole thing will start over. Pretty entertaining actually. Later, SD. :x

Sundance,

The basics of picture posting on this site:

1. The image (.jpg , .gif, etc.) must be stored on an internet accessible picture storage site that does not require a username or password to view such as shutterfly, BigBike riders, or online storage w/ your internet provider. I use comcast.net's online storage. If you right click any of the pictures you can see, and select properties, you'll be able to see the URL of the where the picture is stored.

2. In the "Post a reply" text box, click the Img button towards the top of the window then type (or paste) the entire URL and click the Img button again.

http://home.comcast.net/~david.powell/MiscFiles/postpicturehelp.gif

Before you press submit, click on Preview and make sure the picture displays. If it does, great! Press submit. If not then either your text string is typed wrong or the picture is NOT accessible.

Thanks for the photo help Manwhor! :tools1: As for the leap day ride, Dave seliski from channel 8 is not cooperating! :rain1: Looks like our first ride will be up to the chanel 8 studio for a little disiplinary session with ole davey boy! :badabing: Maybe we'll get lucky, I know Pi will! How does a 10:00 meeting at the Kmart by I-5 next to the Value Village sound to everyone? I figure by 10:00 am we can get a handle on the weather and let the morning warm up a little. Sound good? Let me know asphalt agonizers! Sundance :x
