New owner of VTX 1800 Retro. The bike is great (already have been to Key West!). I got lucky and found this forum, and I wish I could have made the HD ride on Sat, but had to spend a few hours at work.
I would like to meet up at a local bike night/ ride, and look forward to meeting all of you.

Big WELCOME to ya, ya missed a great ride, and a chance to meet great people in your area that ride this awesome machine. Keep that big grin on your face though, cause we will meet again soon, and we will put an end to that problem.
You'll learn on your own, but HDL, the people that sponsor this forum are an amazing group of people to do business with, along with prices that are difficult to beat. Just click on the red banner at the top of the page, and check em out.
Again welcome, and look foward to meetin & riding with ya in the future.

hooters pines and university tonight
I laughed my a$$ off last night at Hard Rock.
A couple of Harleys and a crotch rocket were ahead of me, pulling into the primo parking on the inside. The security guy wouldn't let the crotch rocket inside..........told him to park that ***** out in the parking lot. :pepper1:
And speaking of the Hard Rock I was with Mike (Mitchburt on this forum). He traded his '05 Road King with 300 miles on it for an American IronHorse last Saturday because his legs were too short for the bike. He also bought a Screaming Eagle Fat Boy 2 weeks ago, and just put a couple of grand in accessories on the bike this week. Anyway, he spots a "For Sale" sign on a custom built chopper, and starts negotiating with the owner, and tells him if it drives OK, he'll take it in the morning. 8)
