Anyone here planning on doing the homecoming ride that is stickied in the forums? If so send me a pm, I would like to do this and have a crew to ride up with.

I hear you. I am doing the "special duty" thing so for the most part our good Uncle leaves me alone. Still waiting to hear if anyone from down here is going to make the ride. I would like to roll up there, but do not really want to do it solo.

I know. Right now I just changed jobs, making me do all the schooling for this new career. (with 17 active years in, it sux). It is keeping me busy, along with the "honey-do's" at home.
Would like to get together soon for a ride though. I plan on going to New Augusta on Monday morning. Friend of mine there is the chief of police and I owe him a cap from California I picked up. If you want to ride with me, let me know.

This monday? Is it a day trip out and back? If so I can try to get the day off, but it is sort of last minute.

Yea, this Monday. I have every other Monday off, so I am planning on doing a morning trip to New Augusta (above Camp Shelby) to the police station there. I am planning on leaving around 8:30 and be back around 12 or 1:00 in the afternoon.
I know its kind of last minute, but I finished my last layer or brick on the wall I am building here, and the wife is not going to be home Monday, so its a bike riding day!! hahahaha.

I will try to contact my boss today and see if he is cool with me taking tomorrow off. I am out of class so I can not see why he would have a problem with it. If so I will shoot you a pm for contact info and we can make a ride of it.

Personally I can not think of any reason NOT good enough to ride.
