Added new bike to collection

I just picked up a 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom. I bought it from a guy at work. He always buys bikes he really doesnt want then puts tons of money in them and sells at a HUGE loss. I bought a bike and a quad from him in the past. I had bought a 2001 Vulcan 800 Classic, (in 2000),with 300miles on it and LOADED with aftermarket chrome, pipes, etc. from him for $4000. The quad I bought for $600 and sold it for $1800. This Sportster he bought because he got tired of waiting for the Springer Softail in the color he really wanted. He just put the Samson Street Sweepers on last week. He also gave me a set of Screamin Eagle pipes along with the stock pipes. I loaded up my pickup with all the stock parts he took off because he replaced it all with aftermarket H-D chrome he bought from Mike's Harley Davidson. The bike has 600 miles on it. He came to me to buy it so I made a lowball offer and waited him out. I cant believe he took it. I know he has over $5000 more, than what I paid, in the bike. Im not sure what Im going to do with it yet. I think I might tag it and ride it for alittle while.

sounds like you have to much money to spend.i'd never pay money for a harley,sheesh,the new 2005 883 is rated at the same comfort and preformance as the suzuki burgmen 650 scooter.What a joke.

I paid less for the Harley with all the accessorys than I did for the VTX stock. If I didnt get it as cheap as I did I wouldnt have bought it. I can turn around next year and sell it for a few thousand more than what I paid for it. I dont give a sh*it what you think. Your no better than the Harley guys that bad mouth our VTX's. I like all kinds of motorcycles.

Well damn,all i said is,I would never pay for a harley.I never said anyone else should'nt.I don't care what anyone rides.Harley's are nice,and pretty,but not for the money they want for them.I'd never pay for an OCC either,just too much for what they really are,just a name.I can get the same,if not much better quality from a metric.I'm not the one who needs to take the pill here.
