THANKS hivoltg, hokiehi, bitbrain, & Zac, "The Bounty Hunter" for a great ride & great poker run. It was reported that we had 84 bikes on the run while Desoto Honda had 124 registered bikers in their poker run. I didn't know they were having a run; did you? Anyway, in both events there was only two bikes break downs; both were HD's. Oh yeah, that was good of you Cody to wait on the crew performing the roadside repair on that one HD. Didn't mean to get separated; poop happens. BTW, your HD rider pal, (sorry, I didn't catch his name; very nice guy though), told me in confidence that you still mess your drawers occasionally. Where would we be if we didn't have friends like that?
If you hear of anything coming up on Memorial Day weekend, let us know & me & the brothers will do our best to tag along.
P.S. Zac don't forget the little lady when we ride again. We enjoyed all the time you spent over on the side talking on your cell phone with your work, etc. Ashley is good company & ..........................................and .................................................a nd a fine lady.  Seriously, she's a keeper.

Hey, guys, how'd we miss Red Sonja? She said she was first in line at registration.
Bob, did you say you have some VTX parts in your garage that you're wanting to unload? Shoot me the list & I'll see if there's anything I can talk myself into believing I need. 8)

Hey Cliff, I said HI to a couple guys on 1300's at the Good Times burger stop but they were pre-occupied with something & didn't appear to want to talk. One of 'em was on a red 1300C wearing a black tee shirt with some type of law enforcement badge logo on it. Could that be Red Sonya? :?:

Bob-
My buddy on the HD was Rick....my dad! That is why we got seperated. Dad went to help a fellow HD rider which made me stick around. I wasn't real happy with the stops on that run...so me and the HD boys went to a few bars between stops! There is a run on June the 11th leaving Bumpus in Collierville, where you and I originally met.

They have the flyer at Holiday Crossing. I don't think they feed you at this one, but the stops are much better. This will be a tavern to tavern run, no gas stations this time (thank god). I will try to get more info.

Well, I was thirsty as hell on the last run. What can I say, the Olive Branch Police Dept probably thinks beer & asphalt don't mix, huh? Anyway, hope me & "the brothers" can make it; still too early to tell due to nature of my employment.

First of all to Bob and his Bros, how was the ride you all ended up making this last weekend? Sorry I couldn't join you. Had already made plans to ride with Karen. FYI, she and I are talking about putting together a little ride from around her house in the Horseshoe Lake area of Arkansas (its only 5 miles west of Horn Lake across Big Muddy-just cant get there from here).
Features a run up Crowley's Ridge, some VERY nice switchback turns on route 284, some nice straight lanes to stretch your bikes and more. I hope that sounds attractive to all. If I can get some response on interest we'll work out the details. May even do some grilling or some Cajun cuisine prepared by yours truly after the ride and offer a room or sofa for those that might want to crash out.
But for now I'm just looking for any more info on Bumpus this upcoming weekend.

I'm planning to ride. I haven't seen any 411......on the other hand, I can call them and get the details  Hopefully, I can talk my lady into taking the day too.
If ya'll aren't doing anything later that nite (7 pm), you need to join us at DeSoto Civic Center where the league leading Memphis Xplorers (8-1) are doing battle against the only team to give them a blemish. We have season tickets right behind the oppositions bench. Tickets are only $7 to get in and then as long as everyone has a seat, the ushers don't care where you sit.

Spoke with a woman at Bumpus Collierville yesterday and the only poker run she is aware of is for the Jennie Baker Parker charity. I went to the Web and it appears pre-registration for this run starts this weekend. The run itself is the first weekend after the 4th. If interested go to www.biker-crossroads.com/Jenny-Baker-Pa ... -Ride.html (http://www.biker-crossroads.com/Jenny-Baker-Parker-Memorial-Ride.html)
Hivoltg-you have any better take on a run for tomorrow? Unless you can get hold of me (REALBOB has my numbers), my plan is to go ahead and add some chrome tonite :D and ride Sunday.
Still inviting ya'll to check out the Xplorers.
