Hello All,
Well here is a new style in life. My 2004 VTX 1800C (In orange) is on order right now and hopefully done this week. Of course I see rain is scheduled all week so maybe not until next week. Soon as possible pictures will be taken.
I am looking for others to ride in the area. If you know of the pineville tavern on Route 413 then you basically know where I am. I look forward to meeting others and learning all that I can about riding the roads. Only dirt ridden before years ago.
Take care as hopefully see you all soon.

Nice to meet you, Swoop! I love watching you at all of the Eagles games!
Where is Pineville? We are having a "meet & greet" on June 4th, if you can make it. Read the posts if you are interested.

Got a buddy around the corner from you...and I'm 15 minutes away.

Thanks for the welcomes.
For those that asked Pineville is between Newtown and Doylestown here in Bucks County.
I am awaiting the call from East Coast Cycle in Bensalem once they are done. So far a good experience all around.
I wish I could attend the 4th event as I know the bar and maybe even one of the bartenders if he is still there. I have not been there in a few years. I will be at the MSF program that day.

Welcome Swoop. Sorry you can't make the 4th but the MSF course is definitely important and a smart move. I can see you already made two very wise decisions with both the X and the course. Depending on when the class is over you might swing by as we might all still be BSing in the parking lot. We can talk for hours about the bikes.
Ride Safe!

Swoop...Welcome.
I have some great rags (new and used) for that new bike. Right now I have more new ones than used. I use to get my used ones from the Capt but his wife caught me going through their trash. Now my only sorce for used rags are with wait4me (aka 1800rvtx02 or what ever it was) but I haven't seen him in a while.

Well I see many folks have the same love of these bikes as I do once I saw them in person.
Is it just a sign for me that there is to be rain for the next week or so while I await the bike to be done and ridden home???
I may need to get some of those rags from you or find my own local trach pick to get some good used ones to dry and polish away after the first ride home with the weather forecast. My only saving thought is that the weather folks are normally wrong so please be wrong for the weekend.
Beware of the pack of Oranges running around. It might make you want another one in orange.

Hi Swoop,
I know Pineville well. My brother and I ride up from Churchville area to Lahaska or New Hope as often as we can and we pass thru your area.
I got my X from East Coast last summer and have been using them for years for work on my prior bike (an '82 CB 900C).
Oh, and BTW, I like the color you picked!! :D :D :D
