There we met up at Snakebites house with several Texas Xer's, KC and the Bama boys and a few others for a west texas steak dinner and a few brews. We left the next morning and rode pretty hard at times but not any harder than expected for an X, we took a scenic route thru southern CO and made it up to our destination in Englewood around 5 or 6pm. Hot HELL yeah I think Snakebite and Donna just sat the skillet on the sidewalk for 10 or 15 minutes to cook them steaks. But after the first day wearing short sleeves and no helment all of us were sun and wind burned pretty good. Definitely take some chap stick. In Colorado at a Kmart and still wearing my long sleeve shirt a lady walked up to me and Bud and said we were crazy for wearing sleeves when it was 108, Trust me 108 in Denver's dry air aint nothing like our humidity, seriously it felt more like 90 at best. Hey bro when you get done reading all of this give me a holler and I'll bore ya some more. Later, B.P.
