The dealership.....
I purchased a new set of BW Dunnies from hal 215$ ish for the set shipped. Same tire as stock.
I had the dealer 40 miles from me put them on and balance them. Well you know how you have the weights on your spokes.
MAKE SURE when you leave it to tell them you want the weights on the spokes. The dealer decided to put stick on lead weights inbetween my spokes laying across the rim. about 2"x1/2" strips stuck on with 2 sided tape....
the front tire had 2 of them the rear had 6! Looked like someone droped a load on my rims. I called the stealership and asked the guy incharge of the service about it.
Weights used why stuck to my rims when the OEM was on the spoke? Well its less expensive to use the stick on. (who cares about cost at this point)
Why did you need 3.5 ounces on the rear did your mechanic deflate and reposition on the rim? Yes he did 5 times but when you buy lesser quality tires "not from us" you get what you pay for. The tires off the internet arent the same as what we would sell you. (what a load of BS)
He said if you bring it back we will change the weights as long as you buy the spoke weights..... hehehehe this gets good.. I say ok then I need 8 weights total hwo much would that be? 60$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I about fell off the chair and droped the phone. I told him ill find them local and do myself that was enough. Especialy after the valve adjustment screwup 2 weeks before this.
JP cycles sells CHROME weights that push on and jam over your spoke nipples for 2$ each guys.... I purchased what i needed at a local shop in chrome for $9.60 and put them on and spent 2 hours getting 2 sided tape residue off my rims.
Just a word of warning to you....... Dont assume they know what they are doing.....
Imagine a pile of lead stuck to these rims on this bike..you should of seen it...... gawd..
