I hope you all got the email but if you didn't please email me your address.
The ride will be the 18th of June. The West side Xers will meet at the McDonalds before the bridge at 9am and leave about 9:30. West side guys plan a meeting spot and meet us at FISHTAILS on 23rd. Street. I'm not sure which route we will take. We should be there about 12:30. Bring fellow rides and friends no matter what they ride. Feel free to break off at any time and the ride home does not have to be orginized. Hope to see everyone of you!!

If you ride straight down on route 50,it will take right to OC.You'll be able to pick up more Xer's that way too,like me

50 is so blah.find some cool country roads! i may try to make it. i need to hook up with some x'rs to see how far your airboxes stick out!

The only reason i said route 50,is so other Xer's can meet up,without having to me on some crazy back road.

The weather is going to be PERFECT!! Can't wait to see and ride with all of you. There's going to be more then just us X riders so if you have friends that want to do a nice ride with nice people (the old Honda slogan "You meet the nicest people on a Honda") tell them to join us. See Ya!!

So what's the route that's being taken,which way are you comming down,and where can i meet up with the ride?

I really don't know. From what I'm hearing from the guys on this side of the bridge they don't want to just go straight down 50. PM me your phone number and I'll call you when we leave the meeting spot on this side and let you know what everyone decides. I think if we might do the 404, 113, 54 through Delaware. I'm waiting to see if anyone else has a better way. If we can't meet you on the road we will see you at FISHTAILS. I'm sure there are others coming from you location.

Guys (and Gals),

If you would like to start the ride over with me and Rocco here's our starting point.

Meet by 8am at Martin's North Point on North Point rd. This is a good launching pad for us Eastside Baltimore guys or anyone that lives in the city, or Harford co for that matter.

I thought this was a ride for maryland vtx'ers,if you go on 113,you're going through delaware,and missing some of us eastern shore people.sounds more like a western shore ride to oc.

I'm out,if i wanted to ride to oc by myself,i could do that any day.I thought this was supposed to be a ride together.Sounds like the western shore guys want to ride their own way,and eastern shore guys don't have any say in it.Does'nt sound like much of a comprimise.Have a nice ride.

Hey Illusion Blue. I had a feeling you'd bail out after reading your previous message. That's too bad (for all of us).

Keep in mind, this is a chance for us X riders to get together. Nothing more, nothing less. I just recently hooked up with these guys and I can tell you this much, these are a really great group of guys to ride with. No A-holes among the bunch.

Also, this is not easy for Rocco. He's got to try and please everyone. Everyone (because of their home location) wants to take a different route. He decieded (as most of us guys on this side of the bay would) to take the most direct route. No harm intended. He probably doesn't know all the other route's (and neither do I). I would suggest that maybe you hook up with Rocco, and YOU could map out the eastern shore type stuff. I'd like that and so would he. Trust me, he would, he's looking for so assistance with this stuff. You want to be our point of contact for the eastern shore stuff? I think that sounds great. I don't know my way around over there.

f you can reconsider, I think you should do so. Here a chance to meet up with some good riding folks. I'm glad I meet up these guys and was hoping to meet up with you too. Might not be the most perfect route, but it still would be fun none the less.

As far as I know we haven't decided on the route yet. I know I decided on the meeting place and that was all. TO MEET THAT IS ALL I WANTED TO DO! Like I said in other messages. I was trying to do Bike Nights all over MD. and then we as a group thought it would be a good idea to ride to the beach and MEET you guys on the Eastern Shore side. I haven't heard any of you wanting to ride to this side and MEET. If you don't want to meet us because this time we're not riding your route so be it but I and I'm sure other Xers would like to see your bike and meet all of you on the other side of the bridge. I will meet you at FISHTAILS around 1pm HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE!!!!! Ron I'll see you on North Point. West side Xers I will meet you at the McDonalds. I will take a vote (trying to be democratic) to see which way to go. VOTE NOW!!! Straight down 50 or 404 way.

Sorry if i was responsible for stirring up any route controversies. especially since now it looks like i won't be able to go. i have work to do at my house and i have the bike up and am hoping to do the desmog and gas tank mod this weekend. i may break down and come meet you guys at mcD's though. i need to sit some bikes with different intakes to get a feel of what fits my legs and riding position.

I have no problem going down 50 to OC. Face it there are not a lot of alternative routes to get everyone to ride together. I looked at some maps and while there appear to be backroads somewhat following 50 I have no idea long it would take to get there using them and we are saying we will be at Fishtales around 1. That said, I for one am planning to head back home around the top of the bay through the willife refuge near Dover. Since there is no deadline to get back I will wander down roads which I beleive keep me on a w/n course til I reach something familiar and then adjust course accordingly. Anyone is welcome to accompany me on the way back as long as they don't mind the I know where I'm going I'm just making up the route as I go.

I'll also be starting with Rocco and Ron from Northpoint.

:cry: I don't care which way we go, as long as we get there when we are supposed to. I'd like for everyone to be able to meet, at least in O.C.

I will be riding my new 2005 VTX 1800F Spec. 3 with Tribal Silver Paint. What Time will you be passing through Cambridge, may ride there to meet up with you to ride into OC.

I don't think I can give you a time. I have about 15 to 20 people riding down and it's hard to get everyone on the same page. We are going to try to get over the bridge about 9:30. I think it would be better if you meet us in O.C. at FISHTAILS. I'm sure everyone would like to see the new F. Sounds like a nice X. Hope to see it!!

I was goona come,but my wife is giving me crap.It's our second wedding anniversery,and she wants me to spend all day with her.I tried to get her to ride,but she won't ride until my ultimate seat gets here.She won't ride on my stock seat anymore.I don't blame her.Sorry,maybe next time.
