Dealers here in the north and west metro area were asking 13.6K to 14.4K for a '05 1800F spec 3 silver tribal flame model in late April. For the few dealers that had any '03 1800C units in stock they were asking from $8.5K to 9.5K depending on dealer and color. At this point I don't know if there are any left around here. The last place I knew of with '03s was Larson Cycle in Cambridge.

still looking guys, is there a big difference in a 1300 and 1800 as far as comfort and performance? i'm 6'3 and would like to feel comfortable on the bike. still haven't found anything at the dealers up here as far as used bikes.

Look in the 1800 For Sale forum. There is at least one, maybe two for sale from MN right now. The one I know of is from user 'kwarp'.

There are MN bikes in the 1800 For Sale forum right now. Have you checked them out?? Besides, don't restrict yourself to just MN... even if you find one 2, 3, 500 miles away, consider it a cool road trip to go pick it up. You can ask them for pictures of everything in detail so you know exactly what visual condition everything is in and what options it has. Then, all you have to gamble on is that it actually runs as promised.

Sounds about right. I would say it wouldn't cost you any MORE than that.

No deal with TJB on his retro??

How about a carryover for $8800?

The $700 left over will buy you a few goodies, and you will be putting the first mile on it.
