For anyone in central/western MA who's run US 202 before from Rt 2 down to Belchertown, it's been repaved recently. Well, about 20 miles of it anyways.
For anyone who's NOT been down the route, it's pretty sweet. About 25+ miles, heading south from Rt 2 in Orange; no stop lights, lot of stretched out twisty's at about 45-50mph+ and some very nice scenery. Overall, a VERY nice ride. Especially on new asphalt.
Depending on where you are, you can run a rectangle out Rt 2 west, down US 202 to Belchertown, pick up Rt 9 East and run past the Quabin, which is all back country out there, and then back to a road off Rt 9 that'll bring you either back up to 2 or home.
