I've been calling around to get prices on the 600 mile oil change and valve adjustment. Reynolds Motor Sports wants $340. Tri-Sports in Topsham will do it for $130.

$130 seems fair, are they pretty reliable from what you hear? I mean $340 seems way too high.

I'll let you know how reliable they are after I get it done. Tri-sport is where I bought the bike and after I put about 100 miles on it I was having some problems. I took it back on a busy Saturday just to discuss it with the service manager and his response was, "Let's take a look at it now."

They took it into the shop and worked on it adjusting things for about 45 minutes and I haven't had a problem since.

What size bike is it? Sounds like a 1300?

I agree 130 sounds fair, I just paid Kelley's Sport Shop in Orrington, $125 for a valve check and oil change last week. And I paid about $150 for my previous valve check and fluid change. Warren Kelley also just put on a new rear tire (from HDL) for $40 yesterday, then passed me with my aftermarket exhaust for an inspection sticker. Ready to Roll!!!
