2 of my Valk buddies went down today in Southwest Louisiana. Riding the curves and hit mud from tractors working in the fields. JP and John Charles aren't novice riders and this can happen to anybody. In fact, last year it happened to one of my other friends, Doc Abadie, on the West Bank.
Guys, be careful as the weather warms up and we are riding more. Sand and mud will get on the road when it rains so watch for it. I saw some sand yesterday at the Spillway on River Road.
Both these guys are gonna make it but scratches and broken bones can take the fun out for a while.
